The Outer Box

So here’s the deal: On July 26th-27th (Sat/Sun) there will be a ton of people in Five Points for the First Coast pride festival and parade. The local businesses are having sidewalk sales so we decided to jump on the bandwagon and see if we can’t figure out a way to sell some art.  The street will be blocked off for a block party so we can spill out into the sidewalk if we need to.  There should be plenty of room for everyone.

So the idea is this: Flux will take everything off the walls for those two days so that we can fill the place with all kinds of original art by locals. The thing is that whatever you bring in has to be under $100. Clean out your studio, break out some old drawings…whatever. Our commission rate will be 20% and we will be here to man the shop, wrap stuff up, and for credit card processing…ect. I think this will be a great a time and if anything, a good way to get some beer money.  We will be hanging work on Sat, July 26th from 9-10am and taking it down on Sun, July 27th at 5pm. Let me know if you want to participate and feel free to forward this along to anyone else you think might be interested.
