A lil birdie told me about the Third Annual Skateboard Art Show coming up here in Jacksonville in January. “I’m Board III” is open to everyone and anyone willing to create a one of a kind skate deck. The only requirement of the show is all work must be created on a skate deck. I spoke to artist Chad Landenberger about the show and he let me know that Levi from urbanartwarfare.com is designing the flyer for the show. I’ll have more details once the flyer is done. Get a head start and start thinking about what ya want to create on your skate deck. Can’t find an affordable deck you say? Chad will have skateboard decks for sale for just 20.00!!! The show is gonna take place on 01/03/09 during Art Walk @ The Old Library downtown. I’ll keep you all posted once I got all the info..

Wanna Help Out?

Here is what we need... A Person to take photos at art shows that they attend. Would be nice to have a dedicated photog for the blog that caters to Jacksonville art shows. Interviews- We really, really, really, need help in this area. Its the most time consuming for me and ed and we just cant do them as often as we want to! Wanna do a new interview each month featuring Jax artists??? Let us know if you would be down with interviewing an artist in person or via email. We need ya.
