Folio Weekly Invitational-

Ok, i kind of known about this for a bit but, didnt want to post anything up until it was really official. Well, as you can see from the past two Folio Weeklys( is that even a word?)….a lot of talented folks got accepted into the show as well as me and Edmund. I was totaly thrilled when I noticed sooooo many names of folks that are my friends or artists that I have shown with before. All the names are familiar and Im looking forward to see what everyone comes up with for the Cummer Museum. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!!!!! I wanted to put the artists names down and link to there work somewhere so folks could check out the artists and what they do…so…here we go-

Wanna Help Out?

Here is what we need... A Person to take photos at art shows that they attend. Would be nice to have a dedicated photog for the blog that caters to Jacksonville art shows. Interviews- We really, really, really, need help in this area. Its the most time consuming for me and ed and we just cant do them as often as we want to! Wanna do a new interview each month featuring Jax artists??? Let us know if you would be down with interviewing an artist in person or via email. We need ya. @ Casey- looking forward to meeting you to! I love your work, really great stuff. Really all the artists in the show have some really strong work. Glad to see that google is sending folks this way. Lookin forward to seeing what we cook up for the show!

It would have ben nice to know about this event before hand. the outer box needs to step up its game on reporting art shows and call to artist.

Hey there Frank! Congrats on the Folio show sir! Yeah, i need to quit my dayjob,night job, and move out to Los Angeles for sure. I think ill keep my family though….for now. Looking forward to the show man!
