Michael Jackson- 1958-2009

Yesterday was a day you will probably always remember. The day you heard on the news or read it on the web that Michael Jackson had died. I was sitting on the phone just talking to my mom when she gasped and went silent thenĀ  told me Michael Jackson is dead. I couldn’t believe it. I instantly had a flashback of myself sitting in my room at about 7yrs old listening to Thriller on my little record player. When i was about 8 i got a tape recorder and my dad made me a tape of the whole Thriller album. I used to listen to that tape over and over and over again. There were no “bad” songs on the whole damn thing!

Micheal never really had much of a life. Ever since the days of the Jackson Five he worked tirelessly to become the King of Pop. Mike was a weird one…no doubt. Especially when he got up there in years. He really was a boy trapped in a mans body. He never got to really be a kid. I know now Micheal is free and no longer has to worry about the paparazzi, child molesting allegations, finances, and all the usual crap that comes with being a super star. Rest in peace MJ, you have changed the music industry forever and will always be remembered by your fans of young and old across the globe.-bg
